Our Breeding Farm is located in Huntsville, Texas. We specialize in Llamas, Miniature Donkeys and Gaited Horses.

Here is a brief introduction to us...

BOYCE and SALLY STALTER

Blessed in marriage 1986, have 3 sons and 3 grand daughters

and live on their retirement property of 20 acres in Huntsville, Texas.

 

 

BOYCE - worked in the chemical industry for DuPont for 37 yrs. and retired as Production Supervisor over the Power and Utilities Section as well as over the Sulfuric Acid Unit. Boyce is retired as of Dec. '07 from the State of Texas as an Environmental Supervisor @ the Ellis Unit in Huntsville, Texas. He served for 3 yrs. as the Director of Region 4 for South Central Llama Association (SCLA) and as a member and Captain of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (HLSR) Llama Committee for the past 14 years. His hobbies and interests are classic cars, wood work, gardening, travel and "Driving and Writing Checks" to support the wife he loves dearly!
 
SALLY - educational background is in elementary education - teaching first grade for only a short period before starting a family and then in 1976 pursued a career in nursing.  Retired from Harris County Health Department both as a Public Health Nurse and HIV Counselor/Educator after 21 yrs. Sally is retired as of Dec '07from her work both as a preventive care nurse and Office Manager for two Internal Medicine Specialists in Huntsville, Texas. She was a past President of SCLA and currently serves on the Fiber Committee of SCLA and is a member of the Sam Houston Weavers and Spinners. Her hobbies and interests are loving her precious devoted husband who supports her love of all animals especially llamas, horses, and donkeys.  She also enjoys spinning and crocheting llama fiber, gardening and a variety of water sports.
 
BOYCE & SALLY- are members of SCLA/ILR/HLSR and have attended many of the ILA and SCLA conferences in the past plus have been youth sponsors for the San Antonio Llama Show and were fortunate to sponsor a youth who won the $4,000 scholarship. Both take pride and place ethics as a priority in their llama breeding program.  Of most importance to them is the physical care of all their animals, education to new owners and continuous follow up support.  They welcome you to visit them and meet their animals at their beautiful farm in Huntsville, Texas. about an hours drive north of Houston.  Ya'll Come!
